Back In Da Ol' Days - One Week One Sound #4

Hello ev'body, this is my new post for the One Week One Sound Project.

This time I wanted to test a simple yet powerful synth from the FL Studio bundle instruments, thought for the mobile devices but perfectly working on desktop: MiniSynth.

I chose a blend of a saw wave included in the MiniSynth, editing something here and there, as usual. I then added some distortion, a bit of bitcrushing and an LFO, obtaining a sound which remembers Daft Punk's "Technologic" lead sound.

This time I tried to experiment something in the mixing process, too, by compressing the kick and the clap, and sidechaining my experiment and the bassline with the kick (just a sine oscillator that doubles it), to give a pretty housey touch.
I also tried to give more space in the mix by enhancing the stereo image on the lead and the hihats.
